Attendees will understand the components of successful “second chance” hiring, be able to create buy-in and overcome objections from stakeholders, and be able to explore whether this is appropriate for their organizations. 

The current labor shortage is not going away, forcing employers to reexamine their talent strategies. More and more employers are considering the “Getting Talent Bank to Work” opportunity of second chance hiring, the employment of people with criminal records.  As big as the upside is, this is also an area that presents unique challenges for HR professionals.  This session will provide critical knowledge that allow attendees to explore whether this is a fit for their organizations and to ensure that any implementation is successful.
